Electroformed electrodeposited metal bellows have features of lightweight, seamless, leak tight, flexible, applicable to hermetic seal application, pressure sensors, pressure switches, temperature sensors, connectors and precision instruments. 

Product Parameters

There are 5 kinds of metal bellows: rolled, hydroformed, welded, chemically deposited, electroformed. We electroplate metal onto a mandrel with aluminum material. The mandrel will be dissolved after electroforming. We have completed testing equipment like helium mass spectrometer.

 

In the process of plating, the mandrel acts as cathode, the electroformed material is anode. Controlling time, current, and current density can decide the electroform thickness.

Our bellows can be designed for compression stroke up to 50% of the free length. It is seamless, so no dust, dirt or moisture can get in.
