Sensors follow in the footsteps of the IoT

From: Issued date 2021.03.25 Back

If the Internet of Things (IoT) will connect tens of billions of smart devices, perhaps by 2020, we can interact with the world in a better way than voice and touch. The reason why intelligent equipment is so advanced is the rapid development of its basic sensory devices, sensors.

Sensors follow in the footsteps of the IoT

The IoT is made up of several layers of technology that enable common things to share data and ultimately provide intelligence, autonomous action, and value, which are largely dependent on the quality of the data itself. Therefore, sensors are an integral part of the IoT technology stack, and are also a success or failure element in the development of each IoT system.

Obviously, sensors and IoT are very important, but what exactly is it? A sensor, also called a transducer, is a device whose task is to detect events or changes in the surrounding environment and convert these physical phenomena (such as temperature, light, air humidity, motion, chemicals, etc.) into output Signals that can then be meaningfully interpreted.

At present, sensors have been widely used in industries, automotive electronics, communications electronics and consumer electronics.

Nanjing Wotian has been focusing on the production of pressure sensors for 15 years, hoping to progress and develop together with the times.
